- What is IML packaging? What are the benefits of IML packaging?

IML, or in-mold labeling, is a process to apply pre-formed clear film and printed labels or logos onto plastic surface during the injection molding cycle. In this process, the pre-printed labels or logos are inserted into the plastic injection mold before the container is created, enabling ink protection against scuffing and scratching while avoiding color changing after long-term use.
